Atlanta Police Department Gets "Happy" on YouTube

The men and women who fight crime on a daily basis took some time to relax and enjoy themselves.

What do the men and women of the Atlanta Police Department do when they're not patrolling the streets of the city, keeping residents safe from criminals?

They make YouTube videos rocking out to popular songs!

On July 1, the department posted a YouTube video featuring several members of the force, sworn and unsworn, dancing along to Pharrell Williams' hit song "Happy."

The dancing parade includes mounted officers, helicopters, motorcycle police, and 911 operators.

Even Chief George N. Turner gets involved in the fun, despite rebuffing public affairs Officer Kim Jones' requests to dance in the beginning of the video.
