Bond Hearing Soon for Alleged Midtown Shooter

The man charged in a July shooting spree should go before a judge this month.

A bond hearing should be held soon for the in the triple shooting that killed one woman and injured two others at a Midtown parking garage in July.

The bond hearing for Nkosi Thandiwe, 22, is set for Sept. 26, according to Zone 5 Community Prosecutor Sharla Jackson.

Thandiwe is charged with murder in the shooting of Brittany Watts, 26, in the Proscenium building's parking garage on July 15.

Police say the security guard shot Watts in the neck and then fled the garage in her car, shooting two women as he exited onto Crescent Avenue.

The shooting left Lauren Garcia, 23, wth spinal cord injuries. Another victim, Tiffany Ferenczy, 24, was shot in the leg.

Thandiwe is being held at Fulton County jail. He faces charges including felony murder, murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

The suspect's attorney Rickey Richardson could not be reached for comment.
