Former Security Guard Indicted in Midtown Shooting

Nkosi Thandiwe is formally charged in the July shooting that killed one woman, injured two others.

A Fulton County grand jury has indicted the man accused of killing one woman and injuring two others during a shooting spree in Midtown this summer, according to the AJC.

The newspaper reports that Nkosi Thandiwe on Friday was formally charged with murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, gun possession and other charges in the .

Thandiwe, 22, was working as a security guard at the when he allegedly shot and killed in the building's parking garage. Police say he fled the garage in her car, shooting two other women as he exited onto Crescent Avenue.

The shooting left Lauren Garcia with spinal cord injuries. She recently was in Buckhead.

Another victim, Tiffany Ferenczy, was shot in the leg.

All three women worked at the Proscenium building.

Thandiwe is being held at the without bond, according to the AJC.
