GA Tech Pedestrians Robbed at Gunpoint
Police say one of the robbers had a gun and demanded the students' belongings.
Georgia Tech Police Department is actively warning students to once again be watchful of their surroundings after two students were robbed at gunpoint on Monday evening.
According to WSB-TV, "police said two students walking in the area of 6th and Fowler streets around 2 a.m. Monday were confronted by two thieves."
WSB has not reported a description of the suspects, but has said that it matches the description of 2 suspects in a similar crime just days ago.
According to GT Police, on August 27th in the prior case, a "victim reported he was walking southbound on Francis Street, NW at Fourteenth Street, NW when he was approached from behind by the suspects. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground and took the victim's property. The suspects fled the area on foot in an unknown direction on Fourteenth Street, NW with the victim's belongings."
