Girl, 4, Drowns in Ansley Golf Club Pool

A 6 p.m. Sunday prayer vigil for the family has been scheduled.

A 4-year-old girl reportedly drowned accidentally on Friday night at Ansley Golf Club.

In a note to club members, Ansley President Andy Feinour wrote,

“Last night we experienced a tragic event at the pool with the passing of a young girl. At this time, we ask for your thoughts and prayers for the family members and friends impacted by this event. One of the great things about Ansley is our ability to rally around and support one another in difficult times. This spirit was evident last night in the members and staff that assisted on the pool deck and in the many that spontaneously gathered in prayer. May we continue to show our support for the family in the coming days.”
