Man Beaten, Robbed at Edgewood Retail Center

Surveillance video captured the parking deck attack at the popular shopping center located near Little Five Points.

Atlanta police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a group of men who beat and robbed a man this week at the Edgewood Retail District.

According to the police report, the incident occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday. That’s when surveillance video captured the parking deck attack of four men against a lone male victim.

The victim told investigators he was talking on his cell phone when four men in a white Mitsubishi Galant pulled up and exited the vehicle. The victim attempted to ride away on his bike, but was reportedly punched in the face by the suspects, who took his bag with his wallet in it before speeding off.
