Man struck and killed by MARTA train
Incident occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday at the Civic Center station
A man was hit and killed by a MARTA train in Midtown early Saturday morning.
Channel 2 Action News reported that MARTA officials confirmed the incident that occurred at approximately 1 a.m. at the Civic Center station on West Peachtree Street.
The man, identified as 52-year-old Bert Langley, was reportedly in an unauthorized area. There were about 20 passengers on the train and they were bussed to another area to continue their travels.
