Midtown Carjacking: Man Finds Two Guns Pointed at His Head

One of the perpetrators allegedly said, "Shoot that [racial slur] and let's take his car."

A man found himself with two handguns pointed at his head late Wednesday night during a carjacking near Midtown’s Home Park neighborhood.

According to Atlanta Police Officer Kim Jones, the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in the 300 block of 14th Street. The victim told police that after parking his 2006 Toyota Camry, he got out and opened his trunk.

At this point, the man was approached by two black males, both standing approximately 5-foot-8 and brandishing handguns. According to Jones, both pointed their guns at the victim’s head and one said, "Shoot that [racial slur] and let's take his car."

The victim was robbed of his car keys, wallet, iPhone and a gold Armani Exchange watch. The suspects then sped off east on 14th in the victim’s car. The victim was reportedly not injured.

Around 6:30 a.m., Atlanta police located the Camry in southwest Atlanta in the 700 block of Adamson Street. The keys and stolen property were not in the vehicle.
