Midtown Man Robbed After Revolver Pointed at His Stomach

Early Tuesday morning pedestrian robbery occurred on Juniper Street.

Two men robbed a Midtown resident as he walked home to his apartment early Tuesday morning.

According to Atlanta Police Officer Kim Jones, the victim was walking along the 900 block of Juniper Street shortly after 2:30 a.m. when the two black men quickly approached him from behind.

The victim stated that one of the men stuck a “revolver at his stomach” and demanded his iPhone and cash. The victim handed over his phone and pulled out his wallet and opened it. The armed suspect took out “the small amount of cash” and then demanded more.

When the victim replied that he didn’t have anymore, the two suspects fled northward on Juniper toward 10th Street.

The suspect with the gun was described as wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. No other descriptions were provided.
