News Near Midtown: Buckhead Landscaper Robbed at Gunpoint

The two suspects stole some landscaping equipment from their victim.

Two men robbed an employee of a landscaping company at gunpoint in Buckhead and stole some of his equipment, authorities say.

According to WSB-TV and The Mt. Paran-Northside Citizens Association, two people, one armed with a semi-automatic handgun, exited a black Ford Focus and approached the landscaper in the 600 block of Andover Drive at 2:47 p.m. on July 1.

The landscaper told authorities that one of the robbers put the gun to his chest and demanded his blowers. The robbers took the blowers, loaded them into the Ford Focus, and left the area.

After robbing the landscaper, the men drove off down Andover Drive towards Northside Drive. The Ford Focus was equipped with drive-out plates with green lettering.

The suspects are described as two black males between the ages of 18-20. If you have any information that can help solve this case, please call Mt. Paran Security at 404-538-8946 or 911.
