Two Homes Burglarized on One Street in Ansley Park

No arrests have been made.

Atlanta police are investigating two burglaries that occurred over the weekend in Ansley Park.

Two homes on Maddox Drive were burglarized Saturday night, according to Officer John Chafee with the Atlanta Police Department. 

All residents were asleep at the time.

"The first [home] had several laptops and cell phones taken, along with a check book and Coach bag," Chafee said Sunday. He said the person gained entry through an unlocked door "as there were no signs of forced entry."

At the second home -- a computer, cell phone and camera were stolen. The person, Chafee said, got in through an unlocked window.

"In both cases, the residents were asleep in the home during the incident," Chafee said. 

He said no arrests have been made at this time.
