Early Voting Opportunity Saturday

Sites open for March 6 election.

Fulton County is offering early voting Saturday for the March 6 election, which will be Georgia's presidential primary.

The locations for voting Saturday include the Fulton County Government Center, located at 130 Peachtree Street. Early voting also continues Monday through Friday next week.

Along with the Republican and Democratic presidential primaries, Midtown and city of Atlanta voters will decide on extending the 1-cent municipal option sales tax for four years. The tax funds continuing sewer system improvements, and city officials have said water and sewer rates will rise if the tax is not extended. In the Republican presidential primary, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul are on the ballot. President Barack Obama is on the Democratic ballot.
