Updates to City Floodplain Maps & Community Meetings

The Department of Watershed Management, along with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, will host a series of community meetings to discuss the updated federally Designated Flood Insurance Rate Maps. The Open Houses will allow property owners to view their parcels on the updated maps and determine their new flood risk. City of Atlanta property owners may review the maps online at www.georgiadfirm.com.

November 29, 7 p.m. - Rosel Fann Recreational Center, 365 Cleveland Avenue, S.E.

November 30, 7:30 p.m. - Peachtree Hills Recreational Center, 308 Peachtree Hills Avenue, N.E.

December 1, 7 p.m. - Adamsville Recreational Center, 3201 M. L. King Jr. Drive, S.W.

December 5, 7 p.m. - Grady High School, 929 Charles Allen Drive N.E.
