Power Outage Closes Atlanta Federal Building Until Friday
It is believed that an internal electrical fault has caused the power to fail for the building.
A federal building in the heart of downtown Atlanta will be closed for the remainder of the week as crews attempt to reverse a power outage onsite.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and WSB-TV, an internal electrical problem at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center will keep the building shuttered until Friday at the earliest.
Nunn Federal Center employees should contact their supervisors to learn about alternate work locations, and people who have appointments at the building should reach out to their contacts for alternate plans.
