Canoe and Sweetwater team up for 4th Annual End of Summer BBQ to benefit Chattahoochee Riverkeeper

Canoe joins forces with SweetWater Brewing Company and Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) for the fourth annual End of the Summer BBQ on Saturday, September 7, 2013, from noon to 3 p.m. Attendees will celebrate SweetWater’s eco-friendly Save Our Water Campaign with food, drinks and live music on the banks of the Chattahoochee River.

Chef Carvel Grant Gould, of Canoe, will prepare a savory barbecue for guests, while SweetWater pours their signature local beers. 100 percent of the proceeds from the party benefit Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the Chattahoochee River, its lakes and tributaries for the people, fish and wildlife that depend upon them. In addition, SweetWater  will present a check for funds raised from this year’s Save Our Water campaign, the brewery’s annual campaign dedicated to raising funds and awareness for CRK’s river patrol and water monitoring programs in the Chattahoochee River watershed.

Advance tickets are $30.00 per person and include a delicious spread of summertime food prepared by Canoe’s talented culinary team, SweetWater beer, live music from Gareth Asher and the Earthlings, a one-year membership and donation to CRK.
