Dining In Style

Georgia Tech's North Avenue Dining Hall will open to the public Aug. 18.

The North Avenue Dining Hall is 20,000 square feet of pure dining pleasure.

Located at 120 North Avenue, the newest of four facilities on Georgia Tech's campus has seating for 325 people and offers 11 different food stations from noodle bowls to dim sum and deli sandwiches to burgers. Dining will be offered 24 hours a day.

At each station, people have the ability to prepare pre-made plates as well as fulfill on-the-spot food to order. The staff also prepares vegan, vegitarian and gluten-free options.

"In terms of the food, everything we can get local, we do and everything we can get organic, we do," said Todd Schram, general manager of the dining hall.

The dining hall has had soft openings, but will officially open on Aug. 18. A grand opening event is scheduled for Aug. 31. It will be open to the public, as well as Tech students.
