Atlanta Public School's SAC Meeting

On January 18, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools placed Atlanta Public School's accreditation of high schools on probation, pending the resolution by the Atlanta Board of Education of six required actions by September 30, 2011.

In order to meet the six required actions, the Atlanta Board of Education will meet each Monday from 6 pm to 9 pm to address issues identified in the report.

On the last Monday of each month, the SACS meeting will be preceded by a community input meeting from 5 pm – 6 pm The community input will end promptly at 6:00pm so that the SACS team meeting may begin. In order to address the board during the community input meeting, participants are required to sign up between 4 pm and 4:50 pm.
