Election for Parent Representatives to serve on Grady’s Local School Council

Two 2-year positions are being filled. The Local School Council (LSC) meets 4 times per school year at 3:30pm in the Media Center. The Council is a collaborative group of parents, teachers, business partners and the school principal. The purpose of the Grady LSC is to address issues related to student achievement, school safety and furthering Grady’s record of superior excellence.

If you are interested in seeking a position on the LSC, please send a short statement of interest about yourself and why you are interested in becoming a member of the Local School Council to:
(1) Kimberly Abner (current Parent Rep./LSC Chair) at kimberly_ab...@hotmail.com; OR
(2) placing a written hardcopy of this statement in front of the school’s office (Local School Council Drop Box).

Please give these positions some thoughtful consideration; it’s a great way to be involved in educational issues with a minimal time commitment beyond the quarterly meetings. If you have questions about the council or the Parent representative responsibilities, please do not hesitate to contact Kim by email or cell phone at (678) 451- 5237.
