This Shingle Style historic home was built in 1896 by George Hinman for his growing family. It was beautifully restored in 2008 by Barb Shadomy. The guided tour details interesting facts relating to the original owners, restoration treasures, challenges of the restoration project and the innovation of eco-friendly 21st century technology incorporated into the home. Tour participants will appreciate the beautifully appointed rooms and the eclectic mix of period furnishings, contemporary pieces and significant artwork. A guided tour of the mechanics of the water reclamation and solar systems is available for those capable of navigating stairs.
