Principles of Permaculture; Work Where is Counts

Join Garden Designer Brandy Hall and explore the ethics, attitudes, and principles of a growing movement called Permaculture in this intensive 3hr intro/hands on class. Permaculture is an approach to designing our settlements and agricultural systems that is modeled on the relationships found in nature. This class will include hands on demonstrations with all materials included and is held at our sister site, Sugar Creek Garden in the Oakhurst Neighborhood of Decatur. Sugar Creek Garden is located in the floodplain behind Oakhurst Presbyterian Church at East Lake Drive and Second Avenue (across the street from the dog park). Brandy Hall passionately engages communities through education, design, and installation of food forests and perennial farms and gardens through her small ecological design firm, Shades of Green at www.shadesofgreeninc.org.
