The Basics of Growing Your Own Spring Seedlings

Are you tempted by the bountiful packages of seeds you find at the local garden center, but not sure how to grow them? Or maybe you’ve tried in the past growing vegetables from seed and only experienced failure? Join Glynis and grow successful seedlings for your garden. In addition, Glynis will show you how to turn “garbage” into mini greenhouses! Seeds such as lettuce, parsley, salad greens, and flowers will be on hand for you to sow into your new “greenhouse” as well as tips on how to keep them all alive. Please bring several clear or opaque plastic containers as you can carry home! If this class fills we will open another session the following Thursday 2/9. $15 Garden members, $20 non-members.
