Title I Parent Meeting: 1% Funding Reservation for Parent Involvement

Federal guidelines require that parents participate in the process of developing, implementing and evaluating the school-wide/school improvement plan for all Title I schools. Grady is aware of the importance of parental involvement in raising and maintaining student achievement. Parental input is crucial to the overall development of the child and significantly impacts the overall success of student achievement. Because you are a valued parent/partner at school, you are invited to be an active part of the school and budget planning process.
 
The agenda will include: A PowerPoint presentation about the Grady student achievement plan and discussions about the budget, parent survey and plans for a parent communication showcase early in 2012.
