FY15 Budget Approval on Agenda for Atlanta BOE Special Legislative Meeting

Tuesday's meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m.

After the Atlanta Public School Budget Commission passed a resolution last week to adopt the $658 million FY15 Budget, the full Board of Education is expected to vote on its final approval at a special legislative meeting on Tuesday.

The Commission’s resolution indicated it would revisit the budget with the intent to work with incoming Superintendent Meria Carstarphen when she takes over for the departing Erroll Davis this summer.

Tuesday's meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m. at the Center for Learning and Leadership auditorium, located at 130 Trinity Avenue in downtown Atlanta.
