GA Tech Frat Email Encourages Alcohol Use to Seduce Women

A controversial email has been discovered sent to the pledges of Phi Kappa Tau at Georgia Tech from one of its fraternity members. According to news reports, the letter went out last month and describes how giving alcohol to girls can help you have your way with them.

The email even refers to girls as "rape bait," and has troubled many female students on campus.

According to WSB, who spoke to students and female witnesses that saw the letter, the fraternity CEO issued a statement saying, “the referenced email is extremely inappropriate and does not reflect the values of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. The written expression of this thinking by a member is disturbing to everyone associated with Alpha Rho chapter and the fraternity.”

The student that sent the email has been suspended from the fraternity, and the fraternity itself is now on suspension as Georgia Tech investigates the incident.
