Grady High Named as an AP Honor School

Grady High is just one of three local schools to be given the honor.

Three Atlanta Public Schools high schools — Carver School of the Arts, Carver Early College, and Henry W. Grady High School — have been named AP Honor Schools by The College Board.

Statewide, there are 424 schools that are receiving the honor for their Advanced Placement programs.

Henry W. Grady High School was recognized as an AP Merit School, a school with at least 20% of the student population taking AP exams and at least 50% of all AP exams earning scores of three (3) or higher.

AP tests are scored 1-5. If students score a 3 and above, the grade earned in the AP class counts for college credit.
