Primrose School of Midtown Raises $6,365 for the Primrose Children's Foundation

Primrose Midtown is an accredited private preschool that is located in Colony Square

The Primrose School of Midtown at Colony Square is proud to announce that its teachers and pre-schoolers recently came together to raise $6,365 for the Primrose Children’s Foundation®.

According to the school, the Midtown location was, "recognized as one of this year’s top three contributors to the Primrose Foundation."  As many know, Primrose is a network of over 270 schools across the country who every year raise money for the foundation and other charities.

“We have fundraising opportunities throughout the year that focus on the importance of giving back,” said Keri Stoltz, Franchise Owner of Primrose School of Midtown at Colony Square. “The children get the opportunity to learn the importance of helping others and the families know that their efforts are benefiting some very important organizations.”

This year, families and staff of Primrose Schools (nationwide) raised a total of $268,160 for the Primrose Children’s Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, and will donate a portion of the funding to its major national partners Reach Out and Read and Save the Children.

According to a released statement, The Primrose Children’s Foundation has donated more than $1.2 million to Reach Out and Read since 2005, providing more than 250,000 new books for children who need it most.

During this holiday giving season is great for Midtown Patch to take the chance to acknowledge the good work of the Primrose School of Midtown at Colony Square.
