Provide Input on School System Issues

The public is asked to complete two surveys on the Atlanta Public Schools' superintendent search and the Atlanta Board of Education's communication.

People interested in the Grady High School cluster are asked to complete two surveys regarding Atlanta Public Schools.

The two surveys will give feedback to the Atlanta Board of Education, as well as a local nonprofit that advocates for the Grady High School cluster.

The Council of Intown Neighborhoods and Schools, a nonprofit that has advocated for the Grady High School cluster for 32 years, would like people to complete a survey about the search for a new APS superintendent.

The survey is 17 questions. The results will be shared with the Atlanta Board of Education and the third-party firm that will help fill the position.

Midtown residents are welcome to participate — you need not have children in the district to complete the survey.

The Atlanta Board of Education also is asking people to take a separate survey.

The school board is seeking feedback on “communication,” which was  that SACS said the board needs to improve in order for high schools in the district to remain accredited.

The APS survey runs until March 11.

The results of both surveys will be available once the results are compiled.
