Ever wonder about the security of your private information when recycling computers at public dropoff sites? Zentech has partnered with Peachtree Computers to provide the public with two convenient secure dropoff centers for disposal of computers and other electronics with onsite free data destruction services.
Zentech is a pioneer in the Atlanta computer recycling market, founded in Midtown Atlanta in 1995. Peachtree Computers is a Roswell based used computer sales and repair store with a second location recently opened in the Powers Ferry/Cumberland area. These two locations provide secure sites to recycle equipment that may contain personal data. They also provide area residents with the peace of mind of knowing that the materials dropped off for recycling are handled in a responsible manner, using domestic processing facilities.
All hard drives will be data-wiped onsite at Peachtree Computers using sophisticated software, or physically destroyed at Zentech's processing facility.
If your old computer still has some life in it, it will be professionally refurbished with new software installed for the next owner to enjoy. If not, rest assured that all the toxic materials inside will be reclaimed in an environmentally sound manner.
