Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon

A True Southern Tradition returns to Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. The Publix Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon is a city tour on foot showcasing Atlanta's historic neighborhoods and beautiful parks. Be a part of the tradition. 

You must be 16 years of age on March 18, 2012 to participate in the Marathon and 13 years of age on March 18, 2012 to participate in the Half Marathon.

There is no race day registration. Race registration will close once the maximum field is reached, regardless of the date.

All participants must pick up their race packets at the Health & Fitness Expo to be held Friday (12-7pm) and Saturday (10am-6pm), March 16 and March 17, in Building A of the Georgia World Congress Center.. There is no race day packet pick up and race packets will not be mailed.

The course starts and ends at Centennial Olympic Park and winds through the Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park neighborhoods, through eclectic Little 5 Points, on Freedom Parkway by The Carter Center, and through the Poncey-Highland neighborhood where the Half Marathon splits from the Marathon course.

Wheelchair Half Marathon Start: 6:55 AM
Marathon and Half Marathon Start: 7:00 AM
Half Marathon Awards Ceremony: 8:45 AM
Marathon Awards Ceremony: 10:30 AM
Finish Line Closes: 2:00 PM
