Get healthy with the Braves and Piedmont West

Free health screenings for men and plenty of family fun on deck Saturday morning. Everyone who receives a screening will receive two free tickets to a Braves game while supplies last.

The Atlanta Braves are coming off a rather sickly series in Milwaukee, but one of their biggest supporters wants Braves fans to be healthy and fit.

Male Bravo supporters in specific on Saturday as Piedmont West Medical Office Park is hosting a "Home Run for Health" men’s health event on Atlanta’s westside.

The purpose of the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Piedmont West located at 1800 Howell Mill Road, is for men to receive free health screenings including blood pressure, BMI and prostate cancer screenings. Everyone who receives a screening will receive two free tickets to a Braves game while supplies last.

In addition, there will be fun for the entire family with an appearance by former Braves pitcher Pete Smith and everyone is invited to check out the Braves B.A.T. Team’s mobile fan experience with interactive games and giveaways for fans of all ages.

Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders and Freddie the Falcon are also expected to be on hand, while there will be free face painting and fire truck tours for the kids.
