Dine Out for Go Eat Give at Alma Cocina

On Saturday, April 27th, Atlanta based Latin Contemporary restaurant, Alma Cocina will host “Dine Out for Go Eat Give.” Which means 20% of all dinner proceeds that day will go to Atlanta based nonprofit, Go Eat Give.

If you haven’t been to Alma Cocina before, you must! The well established restaurant brand Fifth Group Restaurants®, is known for creating lively ambiences and serving quality food. Several of their restaurants have made it to the top restaurants lists in Atlanta, including South City Kitchen® Midtown, South City Kitchen Vinings, La Tavola Trattoria and The Original El Taco. The latest venture, Alma Cocina (meaning soul food) serves modern Mexican cuisine with  Latin American influences.

Executive Chef Chad Clevenger has created a delicious menu that combines modern culinary methods with authentic Latin flavors representing Mexico, Central and South Americas. Try the cachaca braised short rib with Brazilian feijoada beans, chicharrons and cilantro chimichurri; bay scallop ceviche with blood orange juice, aji Amarillo chile, Agrumato oil, red onion, basil and Marcona almonds; or the pork cheek arepa with black beans, pickled apple guasaca, queso de mano and micro cilantro. Cocktails made from Pisco, Cachaca and Mezcal will take you back to memories of flying south of the Equator. Now does that sound like a perfect Saturday night dinner to you?
