3rd Annual ArtCAN Benefit for Pancreatic Cancer at Atlanta Ballet, 11/9

An evening of fine art, performances, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, live music, silent and live art auctions, and more.

As many 'Midtowners' already know, the Annual ArtCAN event is an evening complete with fine art, performances, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, live music, and live art auctions.  This year celebrates the event's third year and guests can expect a keynote address reviewing recent breakthroughs in support of pancreatic cancer research! 

ArtCAN is a unique and original fundraising event featuring performing and visual artists from around the world who have been closely affected by cancer.
ArtCAN is proud to announce it has brought together partnerships with Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Opera, The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and The Alliance Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center.
The Charitable event will include:

* Performances from Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Opera and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
* World premiere of  collaborative piece “Speranza” (Italian for Hope) developed by Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Opera and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
* Silent auction of fine art from artists throughout the world whose lives have been affected by cancer
* Live auction including a violin from Pablo Alfaro
* WABE's John Lemley as emcee   * Visual arts Curatorial Panel: Chief Curator Alan Avery and Jerry Cullum, Timothy Tew and Hope Cohn
* Performing arts Curatorial Panel: Juan Ramirez of the ASO; Armando Luna, principal teacher at Atlanta Ballet and DayRon Miles from the Alliance Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center
* Keynote speakers: Dr. Christine-Iacobuzio Donahue, Professor of Pathology, Oncology & Surgery, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, and Dr. Volkan Adsay, Vice Chair Pathology & Oncology, Emory University School of Medicine
* Catering from The Capital Grille and A Legendary Event  www.jcm-ArtCAN.org
