Great Southern Beer Competition Kickoff - First Beer Bash of 2014

Beer Fans to Celebrate Local Brews at Kickoff Party in January.

While everyone is in holiday party mode, Publik Draft House (P.D.H.) announces the sale of tickets for the Great Southern Beer Competition kickoff party. The event will take place during the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend on Sunday, January 19th at Monday Night Brewing from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

It features brewery tours and pours, P.D.H. food pairings, homebrew expert demonstrations, live entertainment and more.

“The craft beer scene has exploded, especially in the South, and this party starts what we anticipate to be an exciting, tasty competition,” says P.D.H. co-owner Eddie Johnson.  “We know there are lots of talented homebrewers with big beer dreams out there. Making them a reality kicks off with this event over the holiday weekend.”

The event is open to all beer lovers, from expert homebrewers to connoisseurs to curious enthusiasts. Tickets will provide attendees with a souvenir pint glass, including access to the event, live entertainment, and more.  Attendees will also receive complimentary tastings of Monday Night Brewing beers, (Fu Manbrew Belgian-Style Wit and Eye Patch Ale among others), a tour of the brewery, beer-based food pairings from P.D.H. and enter for a chance to win other prizes, such as tickets to Atlanta Beer Tours, a special beer chef’s table experience at Publik Draft House, homebrew kits from Brew Depot and more.

Tickets are available for $25.00 at www.greatsouthernbeercompetition.com.
