Horse Drawn Carriages Return to Piedmont Park for 3rd Annual 'Season of Magic'

Horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday lights and carousel are featured in this Atlanta holiday tradition

Written by the Piedmont Conservancy

Season of Magic returns to historic Piedmont Park on Sunday, November 24th with horse-drawn carriage rides and the historic carousel in the elegantly lit Park. The holiday activities will be staged on the Meadow, next to Park Tavern.

The seasonal celebration continues through January 5th, with rides available every Thursday through Sunday. Park visitors are also welcome to stroll through the park and enjoy the festive lights and ornaments for free. The Conservancy will offer corporate cocktail party packages throughout the season, hosted in Magnolia Hall.

“We think we have created the perfect destination for families to celebrate the season. I don’t think there’s a more beautiful place in Atlanta to create lasting seasonal memories than Piedmont Park,” said Yvette Bowen, President and CEO of Piedmont Park Conservancy. “We had great response from visitors last year so we are happy to provide guests with this annual holiday tradition.”
