Paideia Art Visions 2013 Welcomes Midtown to Shop at its Annual Artists Market

On Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th, The Paideia School will host Art Visions, an annual indoor local artist market much like the art festivals the community enjoys attending in the spring and summer months.  This year, more than 100 local artists will be offering their art for sale across a wide variety of mediums and price points.  The market will also include an expanded eco-friendly section, popular in years past, of items cleverly created from recycled and sustainable mediums.  

The Padieia School enthusiastically welcomes the community to come join them in supporting its local artists and appreciation of art within our school and neighborhoods.  The show is open to all, with free admission and easy, plentiful parking and a comfortable indoor shopping space (rain or shine).  A craft area will be available to entertain children while parents shop, so feel free to bring the whole family. Hours are Saturday, November 16th from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 17th from noon - 5:00 p.m.

“We are grateful for all the artists and volunteers who have made each year a tremendous success,” said event co-chair Shondra Leigh. “We hope that the members of our school and local neighborhoods enjoy the chance for crowd-free holiday shopping for unique gifts for themselves and for those on their gift lists.  I hope everyone enjoys the show as much as I have enjoyed the chance to work with these amazing artists.”

The market will include paintings, sculpture, photography, fashion and home accessories, and gift items such as pottery, jewelry, candles, soaps and toys across a wide array of price points.  With more than 80 returning artists, and 30 new artists, Art Visions 2013 will offer something for everyone.
