This Weekend: The Annual Atlantic Station Tree Lighting

Atlantic Station will light up with more than 250,000 lights

Come kick off the holiday season at the Annual Lighting of Atlantic Station. This family-friendly event will feature musical entertainment from Jordan Grassi, the Georgia Tech Glee Club, former The Voice contestant Clark King and more. 

The day will begin with children’s activities starting at noon and a variety of performers, listed below, will take the stage throughout the day. Kids and families will be entertained by several holiday activities, including live reindeer and the Seed N’ Feed Parade.

The tree, featuring more than 250,000 lights, will light up the night just after dark. The night will culminate with Santa’s arrival, a Holiday Jubilee performance, a Snow Show and fireworks.

The “Share the Warmth” program to benefit City of Refuge will officially begin at the tree lighting and run through Jan. 4. Atlantic Station will collect donations of warm clothing and bedding for City of Refuge. Donors will receive $3 off ice-skating or photos with Santa.
