The glass storefront of Demure, an all-women's boutique in the ground floor of the 1016 Lofts building, announces its minimalist cool with colorful but understated logos floating above the entryway. As one of the company's co-owners (who both live in Midtown) said, "We like to keep it funky and fun and affordable." A rack of assorted clothing in Demure has items priced under $20 apiece. The fun and funkiness could be seen in the bright red couch, the stylized nudes and the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie poster.
