GIM (which stands for General Intelligent Machines) Computers overlooks the intersection of Northside Drive and Deering Road. Its owner graduated from nearby Georgia Tech and earned his Master's degree in electrical engineering there in 1986. Inside the white-and-gray building assorted potted plants erupt from several corners of the sales room and provide contrast with the technical equipment around them. Items brought in for repair occupy shelves behind the sales counter.
