Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park is the largest green space in Atlanta and is also one of Midtown's most historic sites. The park features a lake, meadow, dog park and stunning views of Midtown's skyline. Visitors can enjoy a number of recreational activities, including swimming, tennis, volleyball, bocce, baseball, cycling and rollerblading throughout the park's 189-acres. There are multiple areas with grills and benches for picnics, as well as multiple playgrounds for children. Though there is a new parking deck for the Park and neighboring facilities, visitors are still encouraged to arrive by foot or public transportation. For more information about the park, visit the Piedmont Park Conservancy's website.
