The Varsity in Midtown holds the distinction of being the largest drive-in restaurant in the world. The Varsity is an Atlanta icon and possibly the most popular lunch spot in the city. The menu is filled with an array of burgers and hot dogs (all available with Varsity's special chili); desserts, including homemade fried pies and shakes, made with homemade ice cream. The Varsity also has six mobile kitchens for catering. There are also numerous drive-in lanes where carhops are waiting to serve, and have been known to sing and dance in the line of duty.
