Zen On Ten is a stylish restaurant that specializes in Asian fusion on its plates and on its walls. Artwork showing Thai subjects (a painting of sacred statuary, for example) faces depictions of feng shui themes across the dining room. The décor also integrates materials that seem unlikely in combination - stout support columns of rough concrete flank the polished granite bar, short tables of wood dense enough to appear petrified stand on floors of buttery hardwood and light fixtures of at least two different types illuminate it all. Owner Tom Ping, who founded the Thai eatery The King and I, has involved his family in the running of Zen On Ten's kitchen, and he has made live music a regular feature at this eatery.
