Georgia Tech's Oldest Fraternity Served with Interim Suspension

Alpha Tau Omega placed on interim suspension pending the completion of an investigation into alleged violations of the Institute’s student code of conduct.

The Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at the Georgia Institute of Technology has been placed on interim suspension following allegations of undisclosed school student code of conduct violations. Posted by the school Friday: Georgia Tech’s Division of Student Affairs has informed the Beta Iota chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity that they would be placed on interim suspension, effective immediately, pending the completion of an investigation into alleged violations of the Institute’s student code of conduct. The national office for Alpha Tau Omega has issued its own suspension notice and is in full agreement with Tech’s decision.
