Pat Benatar Kicks Off Botanical Garden Concerts

Others performing at the Atlanta Botanical Garden include the B-52s, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Boz Scaggs and Mary Chapin Carpenter.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is about to kick off the 11th annual series of summer concerts. You can purchase tickets through Ticket Alternative outlets or in person at garden admissions. Botanical Garden Shines Holiday 'Green' this Winter

'Garden Lights, Holiday Nights' opens this weekend and showcases enormous botanical-inspired light displays throughout the 30-acre Atlanta Botanical Garden in Midtown

One of Atlanta's favorite holiday traditions returns bigger and brighter this year as Garden Lights, Holiday Nights not only offers an enchanting in-town experience, but also is one of the largest light shows in the country, shimmering more than 1 million energy-efficient bulbs. This year there are more lights and new enchanting characters to dazzle your imagination. Atlanta Botanical Garden started water conservation project receives grant

A trio of Atlanta area water conservation projects have received grants from Georgia Power and partners through the Five Star Restoration Program.

Staff Report Three metro Atlanta waterway conservation projects, including a continuation of a successful urban riparian recovery program begun by the Atlanta Botanical Garden, have been awarded grants by Georgia Power through the Five Star Restoration program. Southern Company is the Southern regional lead corporate sponsor for Five Star Restoration, a national program to support water-related conservation, in partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Association of Counties and the Wildlife Habitat Council. Concerts in the Garden Update

Chris Isaak has canceled his show at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Chris Isaak, who was scheduled to perform at the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Concerts in the Garden series on September 7, has canceled his show. All tickets purchased with a credit card will be automatically refunded. Those who bought tickets with cash must get a refund at the point of sale. For more information, call 1-877-725-8849. There is no replacement act, as of yet, for September 7. Also, tickets for the Indigo Girls' show on September 14 are sold out. The Concerts in the Garden series will kick off on June 1 at 8 p.m. with a performance by k.d. lang and special guest Jane Siberry. Sculptures and Cocktails in the Garden

New sculpture exhibit opens today at the Atlanta Botanical Garden; Cocktails in the Garden returns Thursday.

Today, the Atlanta Botanical Garden unveils some of the largest sculptures ever shown at Midtown’s urban oasis with a group exhibition of internationally acclaimed artists never before presented in the Southeast. Independent Visions: Sculpture in the Garden, presented in collaboration with the Marlborough Gallery New York, features 19 contemporary works by artists Magdalena Abakanowicz,  Chakaia  Booker, Red Grooms, Clement  Meadmore, Michele Oka Doner, Beverly Pepper, George Rickey, Kenneth Snelson, and Manolo Valdés. Spring has sprung and this weekend might be the perfect time to visit "Atlanta Blooms: 300,000 Watts of Flower Power" at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
