After a six-week campaign, Kroger wishes to praise its Atlanta Division customers and associates, including those in Georgia, South Carolina, Northern Alabama, and Eastern Tennessee, for participating in the 2012 Can Hunger campaign that raised more than $478,000 to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) and other local Feeding America Food Banks. From Nov. 18 through Dec. 24, 2012, Kroger customers supported the annual campaign by purchasing $1, $3 and $5 icons. Each icon purchased benefited Feeding America food banks and helped to provide local families in need with approximately 3.9 to 19.5 meals. As food banks around the country begin collecting food for the holidays, Kroger is making it easy this year to help “Can Hunger” in Atlanta through donations to the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) and other local Feeding America Food Banks. From Nov. 18 – Dec. 24, Atlanta-area customers can purchase $1, $3 or $5 icons to help provide food for area families in need.
