New Restaurant Openings in Midtown

New tenant set to take over the Five Napkin Burger space at the corner of Piedmont and 10th

The former Five Napkin Burger space at the corner of 10th Street and Piedmont Avenue in Midtown won't be vacant for long. After a 12-month run, Five Napkin Burger closed last month in the 990 Piedmont Ave. space that had previously been the longtime home of Nickiemoto’s. A source has confirmed to Patch that a gay-friendly establishment called "10" will serve food by day and become a bar by night and will soon open on the highly visable corner. It could offer a wide variety of entertainment during the evening including karaoke, bingo, charity events and more and a preview opening possibly could be staged as early as the annual Pride Festival next month.
