Tech Faculty Named Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

Those honored were awarded by the AAAS because of their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications.

Seven Georgia Institute of Technology faculty members have been named Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society. They were awarded this honor by AAAS because of their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications. This year’s AAAS Fellows were announced in the journal Science on November 30, 2012. The new AAAS Fellows from Georgia Tech are: AAAS is the world’s largest general scientific society, and publisher of the journal, Science.
