While some of us are nursing champagne hangovers this morning while pondering what resolutions we will actually accomplish in 2013, others are just wondering about the year's first meal.
Welcome to 2013, Midtown Patch readers. Looks like it's going to begin wet with a 100 percent chance of rain and temperatures climbing into the mid-50s forecasted for Tuesday. Although almost all government offices are closed for New Year's Day, many restaurants, bars and other kinds of businesses will be operating. While you know that eating black-eyed peas, ham or greens are thought to bring prosperity, maybe you don’t want to spend the first day of 2013 in the kitchen.
