Our Midtown Picture of the day celebrates this week's opening of Midtown's newest hotel, the dual branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton at 97 10th Street. The hotel is located at the northeast corner of 10th and Williams streets. The 12-story hotel, which boasts 136 Hilton Garden Inn rooms and suites and 92 Homewood studio and one bedroom suites, is owned and managed by Alpharetta-based North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. It will be convenient for Georgia Tech visitors, but I do wish they would have had a more luxurious brand there as it would be more fitting to the likes of such a prominent well to do school. Even a boutique hotel of sorts would have been more classy... but it is what it is. lol. more ›
