Rain Will Give Way to Gusting Wind, Creating Driving Hazards
A wind advisory has been forecast for tonight and Friday, with gusts as high as 35 mph possible.
As the pouring rain this morning showed us it's a wet day and expect it to stay that way. The National Weather Service forecast for Midtown put the chance for rain at 100 percent this afternoon, dropping to 20 percent tonight. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and a half of an inch are possible. It will get pretty cool tonight, with a low around 29. Rain won't be a problem, but wind will. Strong gusts that will make driving hazardous, especially for high profile vehicles. A strong cold front was racing through the region this morning and afternoon.
