From Patch Reports More than 400 RBC Bank branches, including more than 50 in the greater Atlanta region, will change to PNC bank this weekend, according to an announcement. Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services Group announced last summer that it would acquire the U.S. retail banking operations of Royal Bank of Canada, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. PNC will rank seventh in the metro area in deposits, the AJC said. The bank branches will close one hour early on Friday, March 2, in preparation for the conversion, a news release said.
